Is the 90-9-1 Rule for Online Community Engagement Dead?

A useful post on the perennial issue of user engagement in online communities (and social networks). I’m inclined to agree with the 70-20-10 rule on the basis that there is far more online activity then when the 90-9-1 rule was first mooted, and whether we like it or not, Facebook has helped develop online literacy, with people far more comfortable now about having online conversations.

    The challenge is to move the community from 90-9-1 to 10-20-70.
